Fuglsang Art Museum has just opened in new architectural surroundings. The museum contains Danish paintings, sculptures and sketches – from the end of the 18th century up to today. The main emphasis is on the period 1900-1950. The Diocesan museum in Maribo is one of the oldest provincial museums in the country. Visit the museum’s building in Maribo, where exhibitions and lectures are held about Lolland’s exciting cultural history. The Czar's House in Nykøbing Falster is the culture historical museum of Falster and East Lolland. The house is a beautifully preserved 17th century building that also contains a restaurant. Denmark’s Sugar Museum is the only one of its kind in the country. Visit the museum’s expansive 200 square metres, which has at its disposal numerous restored historical artefacts dating back over 135 years. Nakskov Maritime Museum is a museum for people interested in all things nautical. The exhibitions include models, attire, tools, instruments, curiosities, pictures, documents and much more. 		Reventlow-Museum is housed in the Pederstrup manor. The purpose of the museum is to cast light on Reventlow’s life and works as a statesman and landowner. There is an interior museum, where the story is told with the help of portraits, artwork, documents and furniture. The Open Air Museum tells the history of agriculture and the people who lived off the rich clay soil on Lolland Falster. With a picturesque location down at Maribo Søndersø Lake and many charming old buildings the museum is a real treasure. The Hairdressing Museum in Nykøbing Falster is a private collection of entire saloons, hairdressing articles and exciting instruments. See the interior and appliances that were used in the hairdressing trade over the past 100 years. Nykøbing Falster Fire fighting Museum is a local history museum where you can experience the big red fire trucks. See them up close and fulfil your childhood dreams. Nykøbing Falster Water Tower Visit the water tower where there is a fantastic view from the top and exhibitions on seven different floors.
