Organic experiences at Knuthenlund Gods. On 1 July 2007, Knuthenlund Gods manor
began the largest conversion to organic farming in Danish history. A former cowshed was
converted into a small dairy, producing quality organic cheeses, yoghurt and ice cream
made from the milk of the farm’s own sheep and goats. Knuthenlund is open to the public,
and visitors can see the animals in their pens and follow the process from the milking of the
animals to the end product in the manor’s dairy shop. You can also watch the cheeses being
made in the small dairy, and a number of local quality foods are available for purchase in the
shop. There are guided tours by appointment
