Welcome to Sakskøbing

Every year in the third weekend in September, the South Sea Islands Fruit Festival is held - Denmark's largest! Here, as many as 25,000 visitors are invited into the world of fruit when all the senses are put into play. 

With approx. 60 stands, several different workshops and a lot of competitions, the historic square in Sakskøbing provides the setting for a very special day. There are experiences for both young and old, and a myriad of tastings of both the fruits and the products produced. Fortunately, there is also plenty of opportunity to buy the good things to take home.
