The Maribo Lakes are one of the most popular areas for recreational fishing on Lolland-Falster. Here you will find peaceful lake landscapes, excellent fishing spots and great opportunities to experience nature close to the water. The area around Maribo Søndersø attracts both local anglers and visitors looking for relaxing outdoor experiences surrounded by nature.

Fishing is permitted in the public areas around Maribo Søndersø with a valid Danish fishing licence. Popular fishing spots are located near the town of Maribo and around the islands Fruerø and Hestø. Here you may catch pike, perch, eel and roach while enjoying the scenic surroundings.

Fishing at the Maribo Lakes takes place in a unique natural landscape with forests, reed beds and rich birdlife.
