Ny Kirstineberg Gods
Ny Kirstineberg Estate is run by Maria Hvid and Martin Kronborg and their five children. They live out their shared dream of meeting people, interior design and craftsmanship, plenty of space and glorious nature.
Maria has many years of retail experience in interior design and handicrafts, with a strong sense of service. She is passionate about creating atmosphere and does it with style. The key words are soul, atmosphere and presence.
Martin has more than 15 years of experience in organising events, teambuilding, meetings and conferences and today owns the business event agency Funky Business. Martin is a creative firebrand with a pragmatic and positive approach to the opportunities that life brings. He loves meeting people and creating unique moments that make a difference.
The main building and farm buildings at Ny Kirstineberg were built in 1876. The buildings were designed by the famous architect August Klein. The main building is built with frontispieces and dormers.
August Klein was a member of the historicist movement, which was all the rage on Danish estates at the height of his career in the last decades of the 19th century, and he designed numerous new and remodelled main buildings and other buildings on manor houses around Denmark.
It wasn't until 1863 that Ny Kirstineberg became an independent manor house, where F. Ø. Hillerup's two sons, Victor and S. C. Hillerup, each took over their own part of Kirstineberg.
Today, Ny Kirstineberg is run as a Bed & Breakfast and event venue.
