Onsevig Museum

Onsevig is located on the very edge of Lolland, and the harbour has its own exciting story to tell about a close-knit fishing community that once made its living from fishing, while now it's all about tourism and off-shore wind turbines.

The Onsevig Museum is located in the old yarn house in the Onsevig harbour on the northwestern part of Lolland.

The local museum illustrates the history of the small fishing village through pictures and artefacts. Onsevig was once a very active fishing harbour for commercial fishermen.
Today, tourists and recreational sailors are more likely to appreciate the peace and quiet and the distance to the horizon.

The museum is usually open during summer, but for the remainder of the year you need to make an appointment in advance.
Admission is free of charge.
