Store Riddersborg is a privately owned manor beautifully situated by Naturpark Nakskov Fjord, where the main house is home to the family, and the former side buildings have been transformed into charming guest rooms. Enjoy a wine tasting from the estate’s own vineyard, or take part in activities like stand-up paddleboarding.
Store Riddersborg is beautifully situated on the waterfront of Naturpark Nakskov Fjord. Here, on the former island of Bogø between Nakskov and Langø, history meets stunning natural surroundings. Today, Bogø has been reclaimed, and you can cycle along the dike on the national cycling route N8 to reach it. The estate primarily practices traditional farming, but a small vineyard is also hidden in the former kitchen garden. Just 50 years ago, vegetables were grown here for the estate’s staff and farmhands. Today, the vineyard offers tasting experiences with the local rosé wine Drøm – wine tastings and purchases can be arranged upon request.
At Store Riddersborg, you can stay overnight in the old farmhand rooms or in the guesthouse next door, which features a swimming pool. If you’re looking for adventure, you can try team-building activities or paintball in the forest. You can also rent a SUP board or kayak and explore the beautiful Nakskov Fjord, where a rich wildlife can be observed. It is possible to book an experienced guide for the fjord tour. Tailor-made events such as bachelor parties, corporate events, or family gatherings with activities for a minimum of 10 people are available.
Along the fjord lies the charming fishing village of Langø. Here, you can enjoy a gourmet experience at Langø Grill & Fish Bar – a true gem by the harbor.
