The main building of Fuglsang was built in 1869 by Viggo de Neergaard. Here he and his wife Bodil, born Hartmann, hosted some of the most well-known musicians of the time such as Edvard Grieg and Carl Nielsen.
The building has been a retreat from 1962 - 1995. The park is established by J.L. Mansa and today there are about 235 trees and bushes there. Southeast to the park you find Skejten - a protected beach and meadow.
You can stay overnight in the old manor or book it for events, meetings, conferences, parties. For information and booking please contact www.fuglsangherregaard.dk
