Our flat landscape and long coastlines are ideal for activities on land, sea and air - for example, cycle along the Baltic Sea Cycle Route or explore the terrain on one of the hiking routes.
On land
Cycling
With more than 600 kilometers of coastline, Lolland-Falster is the perfect cycling destination. There are hours of beautiful experiences on two wheels. If you don't have your own bike, you can rent one at several locations on the South Sea Islands.
Hiking
Discover magnificent nature, beautiful coasts, the Lolland Alps - and cultural gems with hiking boots on. Lolland-Falster offers many beautiful routes for both the trained hiker and those who want to spend a few hours in the great outdoors.
Golf
Visit one of Lolland-Falster's five golf courses or take advantage of the Golf & Stay package – a package that includes golf on various courses and accommodation in cozy hotels at favorable prices.
On the water
Surfing
Ride the wave at some of the country's best surf areas. Whether you're an experienced kitesurfer or curious about stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), there are many opportunities on the water for both experienced and beginners.
Canoe and kayak
Embark on a beautiful tour on the canoe and kayak routes and enjoy a unique sight of the scenic nature of the Danish South Sea islands with forests, beaches, hills, and open landscapes.
Fishing
Surrounded by water on all sides and with a coastline that is over 600 km long, Lolland-Falster is a bit of an angler's paradise. There are many opportunities for lake, river, and fjord fishing, and we also have several Put & Take lakes.
Sailing
The numerous peaceful small islands and cozy harbors of the Smålandsfarvandet area make the waters around Lolland-Falster a gem for recreational sailors of all kinds. The concept of 'island hopping' truly comes to life here, as even on a day trip, you can visit several islands.
Beaches
With Lolland-Falster's long coastline, there are plenty of beaches for everyone – even on a hot summer day. Most beaches are very child-friendly with white sand, and many of them fly the Blue Flag as a sign of excellent water quality.

Skydiving
If you dream of seeing the South Sea Islands from 4 kilometers high at speeds of up to 200 km/h, contact one of Denmark's largest skydiving clubs.
Lolland-Falster Airport
Located centrally on Lolland-Falster is the international airport, Lolland Falster Airport. A good starting point for exploring the islands, where there's also the opportunity to experience glider flying and skydiving.
Kitesurf & Paddle Lolland
Try your hand at kitesurfing and fly around the surface of the water at Kitesurf & Paddle Lolland. Whether you're a beginner or experienced on the water, you can join in.
