Maribo's biggest and most popular ice cream is undoubtedly at the Søpart kiosk. Once you've seen someone walk past with their giant waffle ice cream, you just have to sink your teeth into one yourself...
Of course, the Søpark kiosk sells sweets, newspapers and magazines just like any other kiosk. But on a hot summer's day, there's bound to be a queue all the way down the street for one particular reason: Their giant ice cream! In fact, the kiosk is so popular that it's "one-way" through the store, so you pay in one place and get your ice cream delivered afterwards.
It's only a few minutes' walk to Maribo Lake, so grab an ice cream cone with scoops, soft ice cream or Belgian waffle with toppings and enjoy it on a bench overlooking the lake.
